Pit Bull & XL Bully Terms

We want the Bark and Play Park to be a place every dog can enjoy. However, if your dog falls under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, there are some additional legal requirements that must be met:

• The dog must be registered with the Index of Exempted Dogs (IED), and a copy of their life certificate must be provided to us if needed for a claim.

• A copy of the dog’s public liability insurance certificate must also be available if needed for a claim.

• The dog must be neutered in line with government regulations.

• The dog must be microchipped.

• The handler-to-dog ratio must be 1:1 at all times.

• The dog must be kept on a lead and muzzled when entering and exiting the field.

• The field must be securely locked before the lead and muzzle are removed.

• Once inside the securely locked field, you may remove the lead and muzzle so your dog can enjoy the space safely.

• You must contact us 24hrs before your booking to inform us that your dog falls under the Dangerous Dogs Act and provide us with the relevant information outlined above
